This reversible tablecloth is made from a cotton-polyester blend (65% cotton, 35% polyester) with a hidden waterproof membrane laminated between two fabric layers. Both sides are printed with different patterns: side A is a blue ticking stripe, side B is a solid natural cream. The tablecloth is rectangular, sized 52 x 70 inches (132 x 178 cm). The edges are double-stitched with matching thread. The waterproof membrane blocks liquids from penetrating through to the table for up to 1 hour of contact, based on standard testing with water and coffee. However, the membrane does not make the surface stain-proof; liquids can still soak into the top fabric layer if not wiped promptly. The cotton-polyester blend is soft to the touch. The reversible design allows the user to choose between the stripe or solid side facing up. The tablecloth is not heat-resistant; hot pots (above 212°F / 100°C) should not be placed directly on the fabric, as the heat may damage the waterproof membrane. Use coasters or trivets. The product is intended for indoor dining, outdoor picnics (on flat surfaces, not grass with moisture), and everyday use. It is machine washable: use cold water, gentle cycle, mild detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Tumble dry low or line dry. Do not iron directly on the waterproof side; if necessary, iron on the reverse side on low heat. The waterproof membrane may gradually lose effectiveness after approximately 50 washes. The tablecloth weighs 1.0 lb (0.45 kg). It is not fire-resistant. The printed patterns are applied with reactive dyes; expect moderate fading after 30 washes. The tablecloth does not have a non-slip backing; it may shift on smooth tables. For heavy use, a tablecloth gripper is recommended. The product is folded in a cardboard box; upon opening, creases may be present. To remove creases, machine wash and tumble dry low, or hang overnight. Do not use a hot iron as it may melt the membrane. The reversible feature means both sides are usable, but the side that contacts the table may collect dust or crumbs; it is recommended to wash after each use if reversing frequently. The membrane is not breathable; the tablecloth may trap heat between itself and the table, which is normal. This product is suitable for families with children due to the waterproof function, but it does not replace a spill-proof mat. The maximum recommended table size for this tablecloth is 48 x 66 inches, leaving a 2-inch drop on each side. No assembly required.
